Vocabulary

We're running past the 16-month mark over here... and when I say running, I mean Morgan is literally running. We were supposed to be taking a nice leisurely after dinner walk to the playground and I was doing a jog just to keep up with her. But more importantly than that we have been working on expanding Morgan's vocabulary. We all know she is a musical genius when it comes to drums so I thought why not enhance Morgan's dictionary a bit with a few timely words of another subject matter. We practiced all week long and I am beyond proud to have been able to witness Morgan's big debut yesterday when she busted out with "touchdown", "football", "Heap", and "Flacco". Naturally she was wearing her favorite Ravens track pants while running around talking and watching the opening day game with me. And just to keep things well balanced after the football game we started working on saying "tennis" and "Roger" (though I think we may wait a long while before turning on another Serena match up).
