2 months to go

Hard to believe but we have almost made it to one full year. And people said it couldn't be done. Morgan is no longer all squishy face like she was 10 months ago. Nope, now she is really starting to look like a little girl. She's certainly acting like one. Actually I'm not sure what that means but she does enjoy helping me in the kitchen. She's getting very good at banging mixing bowls together. In honor of Morgan almost approaching the 1 yr mark here's a look down memory lane from the past 10 months starting with May 2008.

Here's one of the first photos of Morgan in the hospital. We "borrowed" that blanket she's wrapped up in from the hospital which apparently is something they frown against. But since they ended up "misplacing" Morgan's birth registration card I think it all evens out.

Morgan's first bath. I think we ended up only using that bath spongy thing once and then moved on to the other baby bath tub we had which worked a lot better. During the evenings when Morgan would get fussy we either took her outside or gave her a bath and she would calm down instantly... until she got out of course. I guess this means she has a bright future ahead of enjoying camping in the rain.

Not even a full month old and already a daddy's girl. Nice to see one of us was getting some sleep back then. And also nice to see that absolutely nothing has changed since then.

Here is Morgan dressed up for her first party. We went to a cookout at my sister's house which, coincidentally, was actually supposed to be a final party while I was still pregnant. But naturally Morgan didn't want to miss out on the fun.

And finally, here is Morgan's first time out in her stroller. We just went for a walk around the block one Sunday late afternoon. It was getting close to the sun setting and it was actually slightly chilly so we didn't stay out too long. But we did stay out just long enough to walk by my friend Kathy's house so I could brag that I didn't have to go to work the next day.
