Major milestone

I'm not sure what happened but our baby girl is quickly turning into quite the little lady. Ok I'm not sure about the lady part but she is definitely turning into something. Over the past couple of weeks she has started feeding herself more and more, standing (with help), and getting up on her hands and knees. But none of these things can compare to what happened yesterday. Morgan went to bed a little later than usual last night but she's such a good girl she snuggled up in her blanky and went down with no problems. Cut to about a half hour later when Pat and I are watching TV and start hearing little babbling noises coming from upstairs. Morgan likes talking to herself and her bedtime friends so this was completely normal but Pat went upstairs to check it out anyway. Two seconds later he calls for me to come upstairs. I get up to her room, peek in the door, and there is our little "insert word here" sitting up in her bed peeking over at us and giggling. I am quite certain that I did not put Morgan to sleep in a sitting up position so I think it's safe to say that she and Pat will have a fun little project today of figuring out how to lower the crib mattress down.
